Local efforts are what keep recyclable materials out of the landfill, preserving valuable space, while conserving natural resources and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

​When glass manufacturers use recycled glass to make new containers they save raw materials, save energy, and cut CO2 emissions. For every 6 tons of recycled container glass used in the manufacturing of new bottles and jars, one ton of carbon dioxide is reduced.

We offer Glass with Aluminum, Glass-Only, and Aluminum-Only recycling.

We are proud to offer glass and aluminum collection services for the businesses, institutions, and organizations of Madison County. Register on our ‘Learn More’ page below, and our administrator will reach out to assess your business’s needs, draw up a service contract, and take your payment information.
​Services include delivery and pickup of one or more 50-gallon wheeled carts at the requested collection frequency, starting at just $30 per month. Carts need to be outside, out of public access, and visible on pick-up days. Glass and aluminum can be kept loose and unbroken/uncrushed, and we just ask that you make sure your recyclables are empty of any food or liquids.

A per-cart leasing fee may be due before the start of service, or an agreement to a $200 replacement fee for any carts damaged while on the business premises will be added to your service contract.
